Information

When making your tandem skydive at Freefall Adventures in Williamstown, New Jersey you will complete your training session with your instructor, be fitted into your specially designed harness and make your way to the loading area. You will then board one of Freefall Adventures' turbines equipped aircraft for your fast climb to 14,000 feet (2.5 miles) above the ground where you will have a full view of the Philadelphia, Atlantic City Skylines.
After receiving your final safety checks, you and your instructor will make your way to the door and exit the aircraft where you will experience at least 60 seconds of freefall before you and your instructor deploy a parachute specially designed for two people. After enjoying the beauty, serenity, and thrill of the view under a parachute, you will then work with your instructor to fly the parachute back for a landing right in front of the observation deck here at the Cross Keys airport.

Good reason to jump
By Karen DeMasters
Some law enforcement officers and their friends never get tired of jumping out of airplanes for a good cause and Berlin P.O. Albert Clements is one of them.
Officers from PBA Local 362 of Southern Camden County are encouraging anyone who has ever wanted to sky dive to try it this summer. The 5th annual Cops United Free Falling Spectacular (C.U.F.F.S.) will raise money for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation. Tandem jumps will be made from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday July 17 and Sunday July 18 at Cross Keys Airport in Williamstown.
Money raised from the jumps, and from videos purchased of the jumps, will go to Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation. The foundation was created in memory of Alexandra Scott of Manchester, Conn., who died of cancer at the age of 8. During her illness, she had a lemonade stand to raise money to find a cure for all children with cancer. The Foundation has since grown to a national movement raising more than $30 million.
Past C.U.F.F.S. events have raised from $4,500 the first year to a high of $10,000 in 2008 for Special Olympics. C.U.F.F.S. still supports Special Olympics but wanted to expand its fund raising, said Clements.
Local businesses help with the event, sponsor games and refreshments for a family fund day at the airport on Saturday.
Rita’s Water Ice in Berlin has been a long-time supporter. On Wednesday July 14, police officers will donate their time at Rita’s serving water ice with a portion of the sales going to Alex’s Foundation.
